The Company Cebu: A Co-Working Space For Creatives & Digital Nomads

I worked as a Graphic Design for almost 5 years in a corporate job setting. I learned so many things when it comes to working with officemates, team leaders, and managers. One of the unforgettable memories of being a corporate employee was the unjustified scenarios of getting involved with two managers because of their inconsistent ideas, which I got confused and tired of their unclear instructions later became worst and toxic for me. It was hard to handle a situation that can affect my productivity and sense of urgency. I was stuck between my deadlines and approvals and later it became my stressor. It was the same situation wherever I got hired or transit to another corporate world.

After 5 years, I decided to leave my job and start my own small business as a freelancer. I do most of my time with local clients with their design requirements for business models and marketing materials such as branding and social media post templates. At the same time, I can manage my own time for personal creative projects like illustrations and content creation (blogs and value-based videos).

I heard about co-working space and it is something new to me. My friends always recommend co-working space as an ideal office for freelancers because it is efficient to have an office space for a freelance project. At the same time, it is cost-efficient and accessible to any creative opportunities because it is surrounded by many digital nomads and creative people.

I visited The Company Cebu I.T. Park  Branch last February 2019 for their opening reception. I was amazed by the idea of a space, where everyone is really excited about their services and opportunities for Cebuano freelancers and digital nomads. Aside from that, their new branch in I.T. Park is bigger and wider because of their numerous private space offices and meeting rooms available.

It has a co-working space that can occupy 80 seats for individuals, 27 private cubicle-type offices, 12 executive offices, 2 conference/meeting rooms, and a huge event space that can accommodate up to 250 people.

Being creative is the only thing that I can see that I am capable of. I am grateful for all the opportunities coming since I started working as a freelance designer. In fact, I had a collaboration with The Company Cebu, which I showcased my illustrations through their social media posts and printed materials. Through that collaboration, I’m still thankful that they have another project for me soon.

If you are looking for a co-working space that fits your lifestyle and space preferences, go to The Company Cebu branches and get ready to start your creative journey with them.
