Diving / Free Diving/ SCUBA is one of the best activities in the Philippines to enjoy and experience travel adventure because of the stunning coral reefs which everyone should see in naked eyes. The Philippines is part of the Coral Triangle together with Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands, which the area has 500 species of corals in each region. One of the best diving spots in the Philippines can be found in Cebu particularly in Malapascua, Olango Island, Nalusuan Island, Hilutungan Island, Sumilon Island, Mactan and many more.
A Hostel for Divers and Travelers
The HideAway Dive Hostel is a newly opened hostel in Mactan Island where divers and travelers can relax and stay awhile from a long trip and exploration. It is a complete hostel where they can find the different types of diving equipment from their own museum and has a complete facility for diving and free diving lessons. The HideAway Dive Hotel is managed by The Dive Channel Group Inc., which they are experts and specialists for Diving and Water Adventure.
The Free Diving Lesson with HideAway Dive Hostel
One of my best travel experiences this year was finally reached the North Sand Bar in Bohol. For almost 2 and half hours of reaching the destination, I finally saw it and it was so amazing.
Unfortunately, I did not join the Free Diving lesson because of my previous health condition which I can’t cope my breathing pattern if ever I joined the lesson. I learned by observing them by performing the proper breathing techniques for diving underwater.
A Complete Stay
The HideAway Dive Hostel is not an ordinary hostel. It is a lifestyle hub for travel and adventure enthusiasts. You can chill out and talk with fellow travelers.
The room is very affordable for only Php 1, 200 per night good for 2 persons with breakfast.
Alongside with hostel accommodation, you can explore the different diving equipment such as gears, equipment, old artifacts, and infographics.
Art Activity
One of the best activities inside the HideAway Dive hostel was the Wood Arrow painting which we able to express our creativity through painting the wooden arrows. We put some hashtags for our personal campaigns as content creators. Most of us are doing so fine painting the wooden arrows.
Overall Review
I can give 4 STARS for the amazing experience inside the hostel and the unexpected island hoping for the free diving lessons. I am very excited for some improvements inside the hostel and I am expecting to see new amusements and improved facilities at the HideAway Dive Hostel.
