Wow, where do I even begin?
Going into this year’s Best Cebu Blogs Awards (BCBA), I had my hopes set on the Best Personal Blog Category—a goal I’ve been quietly rooting for ever since I started blogging. While I didn’t win in that category, being awarded as the Founder’s Choice of 2024 was an incredible and unexpected surprise that filled my heart with so much gratitude.
A huge thank you to Mark Monta, the founder of BCBA, for seeing something special in my blog and considering it worthy of this honor. This award feels like a much-needed reminder to keep going, even when creating content gets tough. It’s a validation of the persistence and heart I’ve poured into this journey over the years.
This recognition also excites me for the opportunities it could bring—chances to collaborate with amazing brands, organizations, and individuals to tell stories that matter. And of course, my passion for celebrating and promoting the beauty and spirit of Cebu, my home and inspiration, will always shine through in my work.
Cebu has always been more than just a place to me—it’s a source of endless inspiration, a canvas for storytelling, and a community that fuels my creativity. Every street, every event, every person I meet here reminds me why I started this journey in the first place: to celebrate the essence of Cebu and share its unique stories with the world. With this award, I feel even more driven to highlight Cebu’s vibrant culture, amplify voices that deserve to be heard, and create content that not only resonates but also inspires others to see the beauty and potential of Cebu.
